Bika-Ward was a close fight despite all the help the ref gave to Ward. The judges had it wide.

In virtually every fight, Ward uses illegal tactics like deliberately headbutting, holding while hitting, and hitting off the break. His California refs let him get away with it.

And I wonder why Ward worked with convicted felon Victor Conte? There's more stringent Olympic-style PED testing in Europe, that's probably partly why the Son of Goat demanded all his fights be in the USA.

I'm praying for Chad, but the deck is stacked against him.

That's the excuse, and yet he still schooled Froch in Jersey, which is about as neutral as it can get aside from 2 guys fighting in Las Vegas.

I don't mind Ward-Dawson being in Oakland, where else could it really sell tons of tickets??? And he fought Kessler, Green, and Bika in Oakland. Not many from Northern Cali really traveled to see Ward-Abraham down in Carson, and it didn't sell many tickets. And than he fought Froch in Jersey.

But I do wish Ward would try to fight in Vegas, New York, or New Jersey more often.

Ward-Bika was the most competitive I felt, but it was a clear as day win for Ward still. So did the Jersey ref's let him get away with it when he dominated Froch???

It just seems like sour g****s to me when it comes to certain fans talking about Ward.

That's not neutral, he never left his country like everyone else.

Well where was Ward-Froch going to happen??? The United States or England. Atlantic City is a pretty neutral place, especially for that fight.

Ward has fought now 4 significant fights in Oakland (Kessler, Green, Bika, Dawson), 1 in Carson, and 1 in Jersey.

I wish he would fight in more neutral locations though eventually.

And STILL never outside his country though. It would of been alright if he would of fought Froch in Jersey if he at least had the balls to go fight somewhere else like the rest of the group of boxers. To me that was a bitch move but you have your opinion.

Kessler-Ward would have drawn 20,000 + fans in Denmark or Germany.

Froch-Ward would have drawn more fans in Nottingham.

Ward-Abraham would have drawn more fans in Germany.

Ward-Dawson would do well in Las Vegas or Atlantic City.

But Ward is a pampered boxer and needs his hometown refs to let him get away with illegal tactics. He'll likely give Chad a bad cut with a deliberate headbutt. The judges are therefor him if he needs them.

Ward wouldn't even agree to a catchweight of 170 for the Dawson fight because he's afraid to fight Chad unless he's weight-drained.

Maybe he should have looked to fight outside his country, but why did they agree to fight him in Oakland or in Carson then if it was such a big issue??? Ward was a long shot to win when the first few fights started out and no one thought he was going to beat Kessler. If location was such a problem, why agree to fight him where they did???

And location has nothing to do with Ward simply beating those guys with ease.

If I could only watch one card that night, I would pick #3. Got this feeling that Ward/Dawson is gonna wind up being a little too tactical to be exciting. I like the caliber of the Ward/Dawson match-up, but can't say I'm really excited like I am with Matt/Olusegun and Bailey/Alexander. The Alexander fight could wind up being very boring, but I think Bailey's power will make it interesting and Devon usually has moments of vulnerability.

I said the weight brings down the fight, so not sure why you feel the need to keep bringing that up??? It's because we don't know how well Dawson will fight at 168.

Ward-Dawson would do alright in Jersey, wouldn't sell much in Vegas probably, but it'll sell a ton in Oakland. And if Dawson had such an issue with the location, why did you absolutely agree to fight in Oakland??? With weight though, I agree he should have gone up to Dawson's weight, the great champions currently and before go up in weight. He still has much career left to do though.

And again, if location was such an issue, why did they agree to fight Ward in Oakland/Carson??? And don't give me Ward-Froch in Jersey. It was Jersey or Nottingham, those are the only places it was going to happen.
