      Marquez needs to forget about 147. He gets hurt up there. He needs to stay at 135 140 at the most.

          if he's interested in campaigning at 147 he'll have to reconcile with gbp seeing as they have most of the top 10 fighters in their stable

          malignaggi and alexander are natural 140 pounders and probably don't have the power to keep marquez honest enough so yes he could win a title there

                When people talk about cherry picking other names come to mind, but one of the BIGGEST cherry pickers that stay under the radar is Marquez.

                Dude fights the biggest bums and easiest fights, no way due stays at 147..

                Bradley would get in that a-s-s..Berto would get in that a-s-s...
                Devon would get in that a-s-s...everybody gets in that a-s-s

                  I agree. It's pathetic how trolls bash a 39 year old all-time great for taking tune-ups between big fight's.

                  [QUOTE=trainhard_187]

                  For what? Close fights with 1 fighter and fighting bums in between. Today's version of Cotto beats Marquez at 147. Morales takes Marquez to school.

                  You've lost your mind! Cotto has a great left hand and a decent right but there's no way in hell he could beat Marquez if they were the same size. Marquez's left hand is equally deadly as his right, on top of that he's a lot smarter than Cotto in the ring. At the end of the day when they both retire Cotto will be about 50 spots or more behind Marquez in the ALL-TIME pound for pound list. Marquez vs Morales would have been a great fight in thier prime and would probably still be a pretty good fight, but no one would be taken anybody to school. WAKE UP.

                    I can't endorse that one bro....the right hand of god would touch Devon in the form of counter punches...all night!!...Devon is a slick dude with skills but Marquez is GOD...no joke bro, not many fighters reach that status...what I mean, if Marquez was to send Devon a post card, it would look like this
