No offense but that's one of the dumbest things I've ever heard. What about the uppercut off of a shoulder roll? And the check hook?

The fact is that Floyd beat Marquez easily based on pure skill, the weight had nothing to do with it.

Very happy that Juan Manuel Marquez is getting big recognition. Can't wait to see it. Haters still mad cause Pac got beat when his country accepted the defeat with humbleness.

True, true. Outcome would be no worse but no better, Marquez I'm sure would have been more comfortable with his weight vs Pacquiao then he was against Mayweather. However, he was in fact 2 years older when he fought Pac too. Mayweather beat Marquez comfortably with time to act goofy at times throughout their fight while Pac had to remain 100% focused and still had a hard time getting the MD. On the same token, Mayweather barely beat ODLH by the skin of his teeth and got roughed up pretty darn good vs cotto both of whom Pac was efficient in knocking out before the 12 rounds was up. This is why this is the fight everyone wants to see but never will. Maybe JMM will appear on Steve Wilkos next I hope. I wanna hear the crowd chant "Steeevvveee!!" when he slaps Marquez for hanging on Manny's nuts.

The difference is that neither Oscar nor Cotto were drained for their fights with Floyd. They both were at a comfortable weight and Oscar didn't need IVs before the fight.

if you are talking about that checkhook floyd landed on hatton then i dont beleive it was a counter punch.hatton simply got hit before he could throw anything therefore it was'nt a counter punch..

am not saying floyd aint a good counterpuncher but i also do not beleive he's the best at it right now.. marquez and nonito are the deadlier and more versatile counter puncher than floyd ..IMO

blah blah blah, these arguments are meaningless til those two finally get in the ring together and settle it once and for all. I love JMM, but on a side note, is the documentary about stalkers?

If the weight had nothing to do with it then why did floyd come in heavy? Marquez jumped up 2 division's for that fight, why couldnt Floyd make the weight?
