I think Sturm is better than some give him credit for, but it would be nice to see him up against a very credible threat. He'd get a lot of respect if he won too. Same goes for Chris John.

Sturms last three opponents were top 10 guys.......whether you think he lost or not.....the fact of the matter is, he fought Murray, Macklin, and then stopped Zbik, who lost to JCC in far less convincing fashion.... Where as JCC who a lot of people like to rate sooo highly faced two guys with a combined 11 losses before the Lee fight and after the Zbik fight. If you have anything to say about Sturm's opposition, you better mention everybody else's too, because his past 3 opponents have been quality, by rankings standards.

With that being said, I believe Sturm will win, and when he does....I can't wait to hear the "Geale was a nobody" posts.

Not sure wtf Zbik was doing in that Sturm fight but he got beat by pure jabs. Hopefully Geale can do a better job cause I think Sturm's time is running short.

Like I said, I give Sturm some credit, I absolutely do. More than most actually. But I reiterate that I would like to see him take on someone at the very tip top of the MW division such as Martinez. Sturm has made a lot of title defenses and should fight someone at the TOP of the top ten rankings.

I think Sturm wins this. Geale is not a big puncher and IMO it will take a big hitter to beat Sturm, either by KO or battering him so badly that two of the three judges decide they can't give him the decision. (no one will get a UD against him in Germany, any more than an opponent will get a UD over Alexander in St. Louis).

Plus, in this case, he is simply the better boxer. IMO Sturm lost to Macklin, but I think he gets by Geale something like 116-112 or 115-113. And then he spends the next few years avoiding Golovkin, Pirog and Martinez
