Not sure where he ranks but he would have been one of the best in any era. I'd probably put him top 5 or not far away from that.

Not to me.
Lennox was an excellent heavyweight but to me IMO rates below the following champions beginning with Sonny Liston.Almost all the heavyweight champions (with a few exceptions) before Liston were around or under 200 lbs so it's not fair to compare those guys with a 240 lb excellent super heavyweight like Lewis.

George Foreman
A prime Mike Tyson (People forget how dominant he used to be before Don King screwed him up)
Sonny Liston
Joe Frazier (Yes he is comparably smallish like pre Liston champions but a little bigger)

IMO Lennox was to slow to beat Ali ,he was not putting combinations togeather often ,his out put was to low to catch Ali off guard.
