During one of his recent standard training sessions, Said Ouali suffered a severe injury. Yesterday evening, after a full day of medical examinations, it has been confirmed by a specialist that Ouali suffered a complete achilles tendon rupture. He will now require surgery and extensive medical recovery. His fight, scheduled for September 21st in Antwerp against Karlo Tabaghua, is cancelled. As a result, the battle for the vacant EU junior middleweight title, between Jackson Bonsu and Jimmy Colas, will now be the main event.
