Pfp, Dirrel is more skilled than Ward, real talk. Maybe the most skilled fighter in boxing. But he doesn't have a fighters mentality. That's What separates Ward from his counterparts. Dawson/Dirrel. They have slightly more skill than he does, but they can be forced to unravel & when that happens, they will not adapt or fight through it. They'll let their advantages go to waste when the going gets tough. That's why Ward is better, he uses his skills, adapts & fights through anything to win.

Dirrel is good - yes, but i will not concede and say he has more skills than ward! ward has a better overall package than dirrell, dirrell hits harder, and is a quicker fighter, but he is not a dog! To become successful in this game you have to have a dog mentality, and that is why i have Ward beating Dawson. Dawson lacks that killer - Ward's won his last 5 or 6 fights in different fashion. All of Dirrel and Dawson's fights end the same way, that says alot! Dirrell does not want to share the same ring with Ward, it is the biggest fight for him and he faked the injury - I remember seeing him at the Tarver / Nagy Aguilar fight, jumping around and yelling when tarver did his ring entrance. that was weeks after he walked out on the fight! He knows whats in store if he ever challenges Ward - He is a good fighter don't get me wrong, but he is not SOG

I'm not a fan of this guy, i wish Abarham would have followed that right hand up with a left hook while this bum was on the canvas and ended his career.

Never wish that on any fighter, my friend. Bad post.

Does dirrell even have a career?

Thought Dirrell hung them up a few years back. Dirrell is never mentioned in any top fighters talk? Who is Dirrell anyway?? where is he from? Did he just get out of prison?

Dirrell doesn't deserve this fight. He needs to work his way back up.

Dirrell is still one of the more likely guy that could defeat Ward, watch the issues Dawson gives Ward and Dirrell has the same things going for him except he is probably better at it.

Please explain to me why a guy took 18 months off that has not made the big time in boxing, for no real reason (faking an injury). That has to be the most garbage argument I have even seen on the interwebs~

And yes he does need to earn his way to a shot, that could be a long or short process depending on who he fights.

Old Abe did more than knock Dirrell out cold.

Abe not only KO'd Dirrell and made dirrell cry like a girl but Old Abe killed Dirrell's meager career. So it was 2 Ko's for Abraham at the same time. Probably a good thing.
