For a fight as big as Pavlik I would have suspected there would have been rumours abound by now.

Maybe the Adonis Stephenson withdrawal is connected to this? It would juice up the rematch with Bute nicely. I know he's supposed to have the bout with George in October but this is boxing....

The only reason I'd like to see it is because it'd make an entertaining fight as long as it lasted. I think Froch would win by an easy KO in a war.

Barker's opponent is hardly the experienced fighter I was hoping for. If Barker is to capitalise on his fight with Martinez he needs to be back in with the contenders of the division.

After he fights Rotolo, he should finish his year with a fight against a good contender. There are four British middleweights, all at a similar level but lack the quality opponents to prove so. They're good enough to be competing with the best but waste their time ' preparing ' for too long against poor opposition.
