Former two-time WBC heavyweight champion Hasim Rahman (50-7-2, 41KOs) is furious with a perceived "lack of respect" in the pre-fight promotion for his title fight with Alexander Povetkin (24-0, 16KOs), the holder of the WBA's "regular" title. On Thursday, Rahman appeared at a press conference in Germany and became furious when he realized that his image was missing from several promotional items, including the fight posters. The last thing to leave an ageing fighter is his power, which Rahman has. So provided Rahman gets himself into somewhat decent condition, I believe this could get to Povetkin in the later rounds as his stamina is suspect. Like other posters have said Povetkin really isn't that good. I see the poster snub as just classic hometown psychology and probably designed to target a European audiance more than US sadly. Rahman shouldn't try and go for a points decision here as he's got no chance of getting one, train for the KO and smother Povetkin. Stop him trying to duck under waist height and allowing the ref to jump in for breathers like against Huck.

Pulev and Povetkin are the guys with belts, nobody cares about Hasbeen Rahman. This isn't taking place in the US. Rahman should count himself lucky to get another (undeserved) payday.
