Is it me, or did Ward kind of dictate that whole conversation piece. It almost seemed like he was mocking how slow Dawson is. Not being negative towards Dawson, but just seemed that way.Comment

Most annoying thing about this fight is that its a huge event for boxing... 2 of the best fighters in the world
And yet its not likely to be exciting enough to ask casual fans to watch... Usually when there's a big fight, I post build up videos on my cousins facebook walls and let them get hyped for it
Bradley/Alexander turned them off on the sport, Berto/Ortiz made them want more

Thank you, the styles are different. where Alexander felt the pressure and rough tactics he back off. In Chad fight against Pascal it got rough he got cut did he back down? no he stepped on the gas and ALMOST took pascal out... different fight fellas cant wait for this oneComment

Why do die hard boxing give 2 f^@ks what casual fans think? You never hear die hards fans of the NFL, NHL, MLB and NBA say I hope casual fans like the primetime game tonight. F^ck them if they like they like it if they don't they don't. Everybody is not gonna like everything let them like what they like. If you as a die hard fan aren't willing to sit them down and explain to them the sweet science of boxing then STFU. That is like a teacher giving out a test to students about a subject she never taught and explained to them and expecting them to understand it and pass the test.Comment

When people say its going to be like Bradley/Alexander, that doesn't mean its going to look exactly like Bradley/Alexander. It just means the fight will be 2 top guys in a division producing a boring event becuz of their styles...

Lol WHAT??? First of all, u mad? Second of all this is nothing like the bold... What does that even mean?
The point of my post is that this is a huge mega-fight between 2 top guys, proving that just becuz Mayweather and Pacquiao aren't fighting, doesn't mean boxing's other top guys aren't fighting each other... But if we were to bill it as such, any casual or non-fan that watches this fight will see how boring it is and pin it up that boxing is a boring sport
I'm not getting emotional, I just don't appreciate the irony, I don't REALLY CARE what the casuals think as far as it effecting my appreciation for the sport... But as a fan of boxing, it would be nice to see it getting its just due for producing mega fights

Last time I put all my eggs in the Chad Dawson basket I ended up starved. I will go with Ward. He hasn't let down yet. Probably be a close controversial decision.Comment

That's what we want. We want a war, not a snoozer. These men have to fight for stardom. We know these men are master craftsmen but we want violence and bloodshed. Whichever one of these fighters comes away with a KO victory in a war, they could put themselves in place to be a PPV attraction.
