Comments Thread For: Marquez Writing a Book on How He "Beat Pacquiao"

While I do understand why he chases Pacquiao.Well if he has a couple of more good showings left, he should enhance his legacy cause honestly that's some sad stuff right there. Just recently there was a thread asking us to rank Hopkins, Mayweather, Pacquiao, Marquez in order, and while Marquez is at the bottom of that list, there is also no denying that he could have very well been at the top of it.
I personally dislike it. I think he can beat most of the top 140 lbs and maybe a couple of the Welterweights.
He still has enough left to enhance his legacy but all he cares about Pacquiao.
I'm not even sure it's over a leftover grudge. I suspect that it's over financial reasons. You can't be holding a grudge over a guy you're on stage singing withLast edited by LeG00N; 08-16-2012, 10:56 PM.Comment

Maybe pissboy is trying to use this "book crap" to bait Pacquiao into chosing him over Bradley this Nov. maaaybee? Think about it Bradley has went public claiming Team Pacquiao is scared so what better way to trump that than to publish a whole freakin' book choc-filled with smack!? Brilliant tactic if it were true...Well if he has a couple of more good showings left, he should enhance his legacy cause honestly that's some sad stuff right there. I wouldn't be hanging off the ledge waiting on Manny, people simply don't want to see that again, while it was entertaining it wasn't Izzy-Marquez where people are gonna keep craving it. He can literally clean out 140, or if he can still make 135 he should face Vazquez, Abril or Broner who's calling him out. While I do understand why he chases Pacquiao.

and the obsession continues...
he might as well start a cult and call it ibeatpacquiaoism... members wearing "i beat pacquiao thrice!!!" shirts and drinking their own piss...
but then again, boxrec will deny that they exist...
great fighter though...Comment

I can see Jose Luis Castillo writting a book "How i beat Mayweather"...right?It definitely sounds like he's still bitter about it but most people would be. He worked so hard and was able to beat the guy, only to get his victory taken away from him by corrupt judges. Hell I was very angry about it and I wasn't the one fighting!
That being said, I'm sure it's gonna be a very interesting book in terms of technical boxing knowledge and strategy.Comment

Sure, buddy.

Step 5: Ignore the judge who made a scoring error in favor of me.
Step 6: Claim the draw by error is still my victory.
Step 7: Make t-shirts in advance saying I beat Pacquiao twice.
Step 8: Lose in the rematch and still claim it's my victory.
Step 9: Wear the t-shirts even though they had troll grammar.
If I tell a lie over and over, my fans will believe me. It's what I learned from Mayweather. I could have had an immediate rematch with Pacquiao after the first fight, but I love Chris John so I fought and lost to him instead. I love my fans. They still believe Pacquiao ducked me immediately after the first fight.

I guarantee all 5000 copies will sell out. JMM brainwashed way more than 5000 potential buyers.Last edited by spoonwars; 08-16-2012, 11:11 PM.Comment
