At 140 its an even fight, cotto didn't really belong there, Hatton was no welterweight and cotto stops him up there, cotto will dominate the picks though as he's one of the more overrated fighters on this forum

Cotto doesn't hold up to well to pressure. He would rather face a boxer than a pressure fighter. However Hatton has only faced two fighters who were as good/ better than Cotto and he lost both times. I'm leaning towards Hatton but you can never count out Miguel Cotto.

I'm no Hatton fan, I think he was a bit of a shamster who took the spotlight off other, arguably better fighters

But even the slightly faded version of Tzsyu was better than a 140 lb cotto.

And the Prime versions of pacquiao and mayweather were not "as good / better" they were a ****ing country mile better.

Close fight, fight of the year candidate for sure. Cotto probably wins because he is better technically than Hatton, but Hatton would make it one hell of a fight, too bad it never happened.

Cotto at 140 gives Hatton the beating of his life, Cotto fought more as a JWW, he has boxed more at WW and SMW!!

At any weight Cotto puts him to sleep!!

Cotto's skin isn't exactly tough either.
