    Weight difference is bigger

Sergio is two weight classes above Mayweather. Pacman was one division below Cotto. I think the comparison should be equal between both fights. Since it is a bigger difference, maybe they can meet in the middle, but to be honest, Mayweather doesn't need to fight Martinez. He is fighting in his correct division at 160. He should fight at the lowest 154 lb fighters and leave Pacquaio and Mayweather alone to settle their own score.

Floyd was told Sergio will go to 154, now when he says catch weight, I am pretty sure it was more closer to 147 then 160. He actually mentioned Martinez should fight Dirrell... LOL

Floy said he can beat any body up 154lbs, he fought De la Hoya and Cotto at 154lbs. Sergio will fight him at 154lbs, now what's Mayweather waiting for, againg he only takes fights that he has a good chance of winning. He said his fighting Cotto an his now natural weinght, why not fight Sergio at 154lbs and say the same thing he said about Cotto. A lot of people think Sergio is a small middle weight, so can definately make require 154lbs to fight floy with crazy stipulation from floy.

Do you understand how rehydration works in boxing? If he fought Sergio at 154 then chances are he will rehydrate to something like 168+. Floyd is a natural 147er. If he can't even make 154 for Cotto then what does that tell you? When Floyd fought Oscar, Oscar came into the ring at something like 165(maybe that was Ortiz) while Floyd was at 148 pounds. That is too much of a weight advantage. The more weight you catchweight someone at the more they won't rehydrate back on the fight night.

Well damn, Floyd fans need to man up right now. Not only did Floyd in fact say he'll fight Martinez at a catchweight, he also tried to push him off on Dirrel at 168, real talk. Because that reported specifically said Martinez would fight him at 154 & Floyd did mention the catchweight.

Floyd fighting Sergio at 157 catch weight for the Middleweight title to me would be impressive. For Floyd it would be his 6th weight class and would no doubt put a big stamp on his legacy with a win. If he loses, no harm IMO is done. He would've taken a risk and even looking good in the fight (which I think he would), it doesn't hurt him in the long run.

If he wanted Cotto to be comfortable, he should want the same for Martinez.

Floyd should have fought Manny before that went south, if he avoids fighting Sergio at 154 then there isnt really much that can be said to justify his actions
