Randall Bailey is all business now that he knows where his September 8 welterweight title defense against Devon Alexander will take place.

Training has long ago begun for Bailey’s first title defense, which takes place at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. Well over a month had elapsed between bout agreement and the show’s location.

In that time, the two camps have repeatedly jawed back and forth at each other through the media. A late night call to the defending titlist to get his latest thoughts on the fight revealed confirmation of the 37-year old puncher’s prediction for the fight.

Looking forward to seeing Bailey bring the heat but I see him getting grinded out, held down and negated by Alexanders nullifying tactics.

Alexander is a lot better than Jones.... again though, he has the puncher's chance. Just a lot harder with a faster more mobile opponent

I like the fight if alaxander wins in impressive fashion then he's a real player at welterweight.

Bailey has a problem with "pulling the trigger" ... age clearly has a lot to do with it but he has done this before.

I hope Bailey's work-rate increases as I'm hoping for a decent fight .... or else, we will be waiting 12 rounds to see if he can get lucky as he still has that punchers chance.
