Malinaggi would be the safer bet but even if he fights him, at this stage of his career, Paulie, the active fighter, imo would still be able to outbox the comeback version of Hatton. I hope not, we'll see how he looks in his first fight back.

hatton would have to take like 10 standard fights to make the same sort of money he could off one mayweather or pacquiao fight. everyone knows he'll be a huge underdog so theres really not much shame in losing to them again and making a fortune in the process. i seriously think he wants to rematch pacquiao again and at least try and last longer.i dou t hatton would fight them again. he must know he has no chance and will probably get chinned again.
i think its more likely to be some bum in november, if he wins, malignaggi for a pointless title, mayweather is the real welterweight champion (lineal) but after malignaggi, provided he wins, he will either retire or fight carefully selected opponents to put it nicely!Comment

maybe your right, but i dont think hatton is short of money. he has said he wants to fight top fighters but i dont think it will be the elite.hatton would have to take like 10 standard fights to make the same sort of money he could off one mayweather or pacquiao fight. everyone knows he'll be a huge underdog so theres really not much shame in losing to them again and making a fortune in the process. i seriously think he wants to rematch pacquiao again and at least try and last longer.Comment

I'll be rooting for Ricky, but I think Malignaggi will win by decision.
Ricky is shot to pieces, and the inactivity isn't good either.Comment

i hear what you're saying but he said in a few interviews that it was the way he lost to pacquiao that caused him leave the sport and get addicted to *******.. how is he ever going to truly get over that unless he fights pacquiao again and at least has a better performance.. i think that's one of his main goals and the payday seals the deal. but i think he might not be good enough to beat paulie now, i can see paulie outboxing him for 12.Comment
