Ray Leonard is the best example of how a modern fighter could become the GOAT. Leonard had a short career, but it was packed with great fights against great fighters, he did enough in the short career he did to earn top 10 status in many people's eyes. If he doesn't have the eye injury and fights those years he was retired, there is a good chance he'd have a legit argument for GOAT over Robinson, Greb, or Langford, the three most put at the top.

You don't have to fight 200 fights and fight HOFers six times like Robinson to surpass him. Leonard is proof of that.
Duran never made Leonard his *****.

You can't change history. Stop lying and making **** up, lmao. I was watching all of those fights live, and know the relevant events before and after those fights.
LOL get a clue instead of looking at boxrec.

I'm not enough of a boxing historian to run down all the reasons, point by point, why Robinson is the GOAT. But I can certainly tell you that not seeing him fight isn't a good enough reason to argue against all the historians, boxing experts and legendary fighters that cite the original "Sugar" as the greatest.

I can't take Babe Ruth as the greatest cause I never seen him also he played in a segregated era so he wasn't playing against the absolute best of the best. But that is your opinion I can respect it.

The bold is the best reason why you shouldn't. We have to understand that most of the time unless we see it with our own eyes we are going off of HIS-story not factual history.

You probably werent even born then, lmao. Ducked Hearns...lmmfao! He ducked Hearns to beat Hagler, and Hagler damn near killed Hearns. Hearns had his chance to become a legend, and his chin failed him.

            Hearns great, Leonard legend.

So if something is not on tape and you haven't seen it, it's not factual? LOL

Duran clearly won, but don't say he made Leonard his *****. Doesn't sound right when you're talking with men.

WTF??? I wasn't born when WW2 happened but i know a lot about it. You haven't even watched the fights, if you did you wouldn't have had Leonard winning the Hearns rematch. He avoided a rematch for 8 years to fight Hagler??? What planet do you live on?

You're just trolling. When you bring up Boxingrec to me, that means you're just trolling.
