According to featherweight contender Salvador Sanchez II (30-4-3, 18KOs), he suffered an ankle injury in training camp and as a result he won't move forward with a planned match against undefeated Andres "Jaguar" Gutierrez (22-0-1, 19KOs). The fight was scheduled to take place on the 15th of September at the MGM Grand Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, according to Sanchez's manager Grant Elvis Phillips. The Showtime televised card will be headlined by Saul "Canelo" Alvarez vs. Josesito Lopez.

This scumbag(Sal Sanchez 2) is only trying to live off his uncle's(the Great Salvador Sanchez) legacy & has gone to the point of even trying to look just like him by letting his hair grow into an afro like style & has even worn clothes from the "70"s(most likely belonged to his uncle) to look like his uncle.. His uncle must be turning in his grave cause this bum is NOT EVEN 1/4 the fighter his uncle was!All of Sal 2 victories & draws have been against Tomato cans & 3 of his 4 defeats have been against undefeated fighters(the other fighter he lost to is Tomas Villa who is not undefeated or the greatest fighter out there, but is the better known in his resume) & what a coincidence that know that he's facing an undefeated fighter in the biggest card he's ever fought & was getting good coverage, know he's pulling out cause of a suppose injury..This guy is a F U C K I N G joke!!

I remember watching this guy get his ass kicked by Tomas Villa on the Chavez vs Duddy undercard, anybody know if he's improved since then?
