Comments Thread For: Rafael Marquez: Losing To Vazquez Could Be The End

Former two division world champion Rafael Marquez (41-7, 37KOs) admitted that a potential loss to Wilfredo Vazquez Jr. (21-2-1, 18KOs), on October 6th at the Ruben Rodriguez Coliseum in Bayamon, could be his retirement. If he wins, the 37-year-old fighter could see himself fighting for another two years. The two fighters are going to fight for the vacant WBO International super bantamweight title and the winner could fall in line for a title shot.

I really hope Marquez has one more great fight left in him, he's clearly past his prime but I think he may have enough left to beat this kid.

Marquez should've retired six fights ago....or many moons ago.
