Comments Thread For: Alex Sanchez To Make Return, Eyes Calderon Rematch

The former WBO champion at strawweight, Alex "El Nene" Sanchez (31-8-1, 21 KO's) is going to make one final run at the top. The 39-year-old boxer has been inactive since last December's TKO defeat to Glenn Donaire. Sanchez took that fight, at 112-pounds, after a near four year layoff.

Sanchez needs to stay retired, and Caldi needs to hang em up too.

Both of them have nothing left to give at this point.

Totally agree..Sanchez should have NEVER made a comeback the last time & this time with more reason & Calderón's days are past gone & should stick to help training at the "Gimnasio Wilfredo Gomez" in Guaynabo..Neither one of them have nothing to prove by fighting each other or anyone else, except that they are all washed up & should have retired a while ago & the other should have stayed retired..
