I get that HBO wants to see Manny KO someone to make the floyd fight juicy again, but to advocate for Manny to avoid someone who will box him is shameful.

Is this really acceptable to anyone? I mean I don't wanna see the fight again, because Manny won easily IMO. the reasoning Larry used is disgraceful.

This exactly. Look Larry is an old mother ****er now and he wants to see entertaining fights, I get it. Seriously though, he wants guys who don't want to WIN against Manny? JMM and Cotto to an extent showed that you can outbox Manny that is how you beat him, so Larry suggests putting him in with another "typical Mexican" face first style fight so Manny will look good? This guy... People ****ting on the Cotto rematch are idiots BTW, IF the fight is actually at 150. Manny has gotten progressively worse since then and Cotto has gotten better due to multiple reasons @ 150 I have Cotto winning that fight.

What Larry is saying without being disrespectful to the fighters is saying He wants somebody who will fight instead of running like Mosley and Bradley. Even JMM back peddled the entire fight. If Manny didn't engage it would be no contact. Bradley backed uo up after round 2 and went into " I don't want to be knocked out mode". Thats all Larry is saying . He kept it professional instead of bashing fighters. Because unlike 99% of this forum he has to see these people.

So Larry is just saying that Pac needs to find someone that he can look good against and that is tailor made for him. I guess people have really lowered their standards for Pac. This pretty much validates the point that Pac was overly hyped and made out to be better than he really was.

I can't imagine what people are going to say if he takes a "vacation". Because Floyd did it, vacations are bad. I can't imagine all the hate Pac is going to get if he sits out because he doesn't want to lose again or look bad. Pac's losing the little bit of the negotiating leverage that he has as it is... If he loses or looks bad in his next fight, that 40 million could turn into 20 million pretty quickly.

I bet he's wishing he would have just forced Bob into allowing him to fight Floyd instead of Clottey years ago...

I have to say, the most impressive part of Pacquiao-Bradley is that Bradley did go forward and brawl at times, without ever hitting the canvas like everyone thought he would.

As a Pacquiao and Bradley fan, I would love to see this fight again. I think it would be better. My boxing fandom is far outweighing that though, and I would be sickened if this rematch happened.

Respectfully, it tells us that Manny isn't proficient at cutting off the ring and can't be effective with movement. If manny loses because his opponenet capitalizes on his weaknesses, well then get better or retires.

Why do opponenets only have to fight or beat Manny one way? Funny, but I don't remember people asking for fighters to stand in front of Tyson and let him KHTFO. They said, hey jab and move and see what mike can do.
