    I don't think you need to have boxed to write about boxing, necessarily.

    Rafael's problem is that his ego has grown larger than his waistline. He won't brook any opinions that are contrary to his own, and gets snarky and downright angry when people disagree with him (even though he insists otherwise). He acts like he's infallible.

    He was fine until he succumbed to the idea that he's some kind of bigshot, and since then his writing and his whole act have gone downhill.
