    BoxingScene.com recently reported that a fight between super featherweight contender Luis Cruz (20-1) and prospect Casey Ramos (16-0) was being discussed for a special September 13th edition of ESPN Friday Night Fights.

    The Puerto Rican fighter told us that he is excited to be fighting in Las Vegas two days before the Julio Cesar Chavez Jr-Sergio "Maravilla" Martinez pay-per-view mega event and gave us his thoughts on the fight.

    Didn't really give an analysis of the fight though. Chavez has a melt down in training and Sergio eats him up like a hungry lion attacking an injured caribou.

      I actually saw the fight where he lost. He looked OK but he was way too inactive looking to counter. Has a very good chin and was fresh at the end of the bout but the right man won.

        I was a fan of Cruz until the Burgos fight. Yeah he lost, but men, what an awful performance by a guy that had a celebrated amateur background.
