Comments Thread For: Calzaghe Wants To Make Fred Evans a World Champion

Boxing trainer Enzo Calzaghe was very impressed by Olympic finalist Fred Evans and feels he can turn him into a world champion.

Evans, 21-years-old, has stated that his hero is former super middleweight king Joe Calzaghe. He plans to join the pro ranks in the near future. The older Calzaghe wants to groom Evans into the same kind of champion as Joe.

Hopefully Fred chooses the traditional route IE Welsh Area, British(Lonsdale belt out-right), EBU & Commonwealth, before going for a genuine World title.
