TMT is getting a lot of attention!

Seems like TMT is getting a lot of attention, but why?

The head of the company is a rapper, the company hasn't proven itself whatsoever. They haven't even put ONE show together yet and fighters(specially the brothas) are begging both Floyd and 50 to let them be a part of TMT.

I mean, good for Floyd and 50 but ain't that ******ed? Just because Floyd is the biggest draw in the sport don't mean you will too by kissing his feet and getting him to sign you. I wish them well though.

Because of the names signed at the possibility of rivaling GBP and TR

In a nutshell. Another big promotional company will dilute the power that TR/GB have and it'll give fighters another option. I think it's great tbh.

Because they have snatched up such a large chunk of boxing's top talent (with more to come) in just a few weeks. This could be a success or a disaster, but right now it's definitely a game-changer.

GBP and TR have been at a stalemate and complete fine with doing business without one another since Pacquiao-Hatton. Having the sport's biggest selling fighter and numerous of big names signed to a new company looking to do big things is going to shake things up.

I guess it'll depend on how many fighters they promote. If they gather a crop of fighters in the same division (or a division apart from each other), then we'll probably see a bunch of in-house fights. I don't see that in Gamboa's case though, and Zab has already gotten a fight with Peterson. As long as they don't make in-house fights a habit and they make sense, i won't complain.

Al Haymon fighters don't usually fight each other, and since there's a theory that TMT is just a make-shift promotion for him, then expect cross-promotional cards more often than not.

Just the fact that 50 and Floyd are running things is huge for TMT. They are A list celebrities (at least 50 is). The exposure their fighters will get, will probably double due to the fact that they'll probably all be on Floyd's under card fights. Now the problem is, getting a deal with HBO inked up.

No way they all get to be on a Mayweather undercard. Floyd has what, like 3 or 4 fights left in him?

It's what we hope for. Also, big names attached to it management wise. If he puts on good fights and tries to work with other companies to make big fights, TMT has my full support
