I thought he was **** at the start too, but fact is he's 22, has only been boxing just over 3 years and clearly has a bit of natural ability about him, 2011 world silver medalist, 2012 olympic final, so he's not a complete ****.

But it remains to be seen what he will do in the pros

I think if he wins gold the Beeb will get back into boxing.

      Just like they backed Audley.

Pro debut vs Audley would be nice.

i can already tell you he will be better than audley, but if he turns pro he HAS to sign with a good promoter, we cant be having a repeat of Audleys early days

Hopefully Joshua, Dychko, Savon join the pro ranks soon. HW division needs new excitement.

Obviously he ha some talent but proclaiming him to be a star etc is just a little premature.

Especially when he hasn't even fought once as a professional.

I don't know if Beeb done that much wrong. It was all Audley - essentially he was a boring fighter and just wasn't very good and all his A-Farce promotional shite didn't help.

They eventually had to feed him to Danny Williams and that was that.

Someone like Joshua who is at the least more powerful than Audley and more aggressive would be stopping Audley's early opposition brutally - and develop quite a highlight reel. Casual fans would love it.

Dychko I can see going for 1016 hes still real young, might want a gold.

Savon won't turn pro, he won't defect.

Yeah I agree, he looks like he's got potential though and that's about all you can ask for

BBC ****ed up because they just wrote him a check for a million quid and stuck cameras in the arena and that was that, the money went to his head and he fought utter chumps until taking what was a massive step up against Williams and realising he was nowhere near ready.

Not that I think Audley ever could have been great or anything, in many ways BBC picked the wrong guy, they had the option of putting Froch and Haye on the BBC but went for the olympic champ

Joshua reminds me of a HW version of James Kirkland, albeit with a better jab, better guard, and better chin.

He's got bag of talent and natural ability, so he has the potential to go far. I expect big things from him, no doubt.

I still laugh at the comparison's to Lennox, but he looks to have a lot to work with to be fair. If he improves his overall movement I think he could have a decent pro career.

Yeah the 1st fight should probably have gone to Savon, but it wasn't as bad a decision as people are trying to make out. The Usyk-Beterbiyev decision was a lot worse, and there was 5 fights in a row on that day at heavyweight, that were a lot worse than the Joshua-Savon fight.

I remember after the World Champs all these Eastern Euros were trying to discredit Anthony Joshua as well, they were the same saying Dychko would beat Joshua easily. Some are still blowing cold air, but most of them have stepped back, because he's done what he's supposed to do,

I really appreciated his use of the jab in this fight, and will wait to see who he signs for after the Olympics.

I'd love if he escaped from all the hype, got good coaches in America, and started off on ESPN fight night undercards or something. I think the American's would like him as well.
