Someone has just highlighted my post which ended "he should file suite to recover his WBA title"...together with a post from you talking about not being Bio Identical testosterone, as if it were all one post written by me. Although your post was clearly seperate from mine, I'd like you to confirm this and refute the jointed post..........Thank you.

No you are correct, he failed the VADA test, and he should have reported it at the beginning and asked for a medical exemption, which, when they investigated, would have shown what his doctor claimed, and what this exoneration has proven. I suppose he's not too bright, and could have forgotten about it as it was a one-time thing, and had happened 6 months before, which he probably didn't even see, and with most likely, lots of other, unassociated medical visits and procedures in between. I can see this happening.
The points for me were that his A test was well below the limit, and the second test was negative, so at least they should have allowed the fight to be held, and taken the time to assemble all the medical evidence before draconian decisions which have cost Peterson, a poor guy, a fortune. Organisations make all sorts of blunders and we hear a string of them in the news happening every day, committed by actually smart people.Comment

I thought Test B was about 2-3 weeks later in May. Maybe I'm wrong. But it makes no difference to my opinion. The guy had a genuine legitimate reason for medical intervention; he should have applied for it. His management was at fault here. I'd think that he forgot, because it had been 6 months previously and was legitimately neccessary. All he had to do was lie down (probably-or sit down) raise his arm out of the way, and allow the doc to insert the pellet into the fatty part above his hip. It takes moments and most likely he couldn't even see it being done. Once the test was positive he remembered.Vindicated how? I have already seen the statement by the independent doctors. It was 2 months after his positive test. They confirmed he was not a long time user, which is fine since he only started using in November.
However it does not mean his story is legit. He conveniently forgot everything and was still positive for a synthetic testosterone. His team tried to play it by just being below the illegal levels. He obviously knew it was in his system and he wanted the best advantage he could get.
The levels they found 2 months later is well away from when he started training in December, and even when the test that failed was done in March. As stated, anyone can pass a drugs test at the right time.
The other question is, if his doctor said it was Bio-Identical, then why was he positive for Synthetic? Did he use something on the side? My su****ion was enhanced by how he did not inform anyone of what he used or GBP when he failed. Usually, every cheat denies or plays ignorant until caught.
Just my opinion.Comment

Not Guilty It Is!
There are nothing but a bunch of prejudiced, racist, Amir Khan groupies on this site. Lamont was vindicated and that is all that matters I didn't hear this much uproar when Fernando Vargas was found to be taking steroids in his fight with Oscar hell he even looked like a roid freak. Nobody who is guilty of steroid use request a test, something that Lamont did, it was obvious that the man felt he had nothing to hide. I am just glad that the commission saw it the same way. It is sad but you will still have khan groupies who will continue to drudge up the past and beat a dead horse. I never felt Lamont was guilty he doesn't come across as a cheat, the man even went as far as requesting to be tested, what guilty person says test me so I can get caught because I am taking PIDs?!! that makes no sense and anyone with an ounce of intelligence should be able to see that, the man has been found not guilty now let the matter die and leave it alone.Last edited by dray435; 08-10-2012, 01:49 PM.Comment

So maybe he had a medical condition or maybe he didn't. If he had a condition that made it neccessary for him to take testosterone, he should have told the testing agency. He didn't.
This is making me sick.Comment
