If Trouts chin holds up to Garcia's power he's gonna be in for a tuff fight ....this by no means is a tune up for Trout

I agree with you. Hopefully Trout doesn't run and give us another stinker performance. He talked all this trash about not getting on TV & people say Rodriguez didn't want to engage him. Garcia will engage & has a fan friendly style & if Trout gets on the bicycle like Margarito did to preserve the Pacquiao fight then I won't blame any other top fighters in the division for not wanting to stink out the joint with him in the ring.

if margarito, someone who isn't known for his boxing abilities, can outdo this guy for 10 rounds, on a "bicycle" or whatever, then what do you think a prime skilled boxer like trout will do? there will be no chin checking of any kind in this fight. trout will outdo him via 12 round decision. and even if he had to get a quick chin check in his next fight, i'd prefer he do against someone like lara, who actually deserves a title shot. 154 has some weak titleholders atm.

How exactly does Lara deserve a shot? He is overrated & was exposed for his lack of pop against Freddy Hernandez, a guy Roberto Garcia was blowing out of the water & dropped before it was stopped due to a cut & ruled a no contest. Lara showed in his last fight he isn't as great as people make him out to be on here. Lara needs to give Molina a rematch & quit trying to piggyback off the success of guys like K9 & Canelo. I don't have a problem with this fight & Garcia deserves the shot at the title. Trout fighting Garcia certainly earns my respect more than Lara fighting Hernandez.

I wouldn't expect Lara to get hurt at any point of an easy Hernandez fight. You act like Hernandez was the toughest available opponent when Molina was asking for a rematch. Molina would have "given Lara rounds". Lara did beat williams but got an L on his record in the process and last I checked beating Hearns & Hernandez isn't any more impressive than beating Antwone Smith. Margarito didn't shut out Garcia what fight did u watch it was competitive that's why Margarito had to run for his life at the end. Your an example of a fan who clearly only watches fights & can't pick up on what really goes on in the ring. Only someone as ignorant as you would say Garcia is an easy defence. That fight is going to be rough for Trout & Garcia is a fighter people often avoid in Trout's situation. Keep suckin up to people on here for green k i'm fine just telling it like it is.

The bold certainly seems true. Outside of Floyd & Trout, the contenders are better than the champions.

this would be a good fight. Trout is a good boxer but doesn throw that many punches on his combinations. From ive seen he has average if not below average power but he makes up for it with his boxing skills. Robert would have to apply alot of pressure and work behind his jab. He would need to average 80+ punches a round to make trout feel the power and back him into a fight. Robert could definitely hurt Trout, I dont feel like Trout would hurt Robert

the fight was in mexico in front of 15,000 fans or more and all but about 10 were pulling for Rob. So factor in the loud ass crowd booing and talking smack, the hometown Referee, and the flash knockdown in the first round. all those things lead to Robert not fighting the right fight and just head hunting. He wasnt the same fighter that night
