Mexico's David "Tornado" Sanchez (18-2-2, 14KOs) will challenge Liborio Solis (14-3-1, 7KOs) of Venezuela for the interim WBA super flyweight championship. The event is going to take place on September 22 in Sanchez's hometown of Hermosillo. Sanchez has won eight in a row since losing a split decision to Mario Macias in November 2010. Solis racked up a five win streak after losing an eight round decision over Ricardo Nunez in February 2011.
