Alvarado will beat Rios all over the ring.

Rios is coming off of a ridiculous decision in which he got his ears boxed off all night, then a tiny tiny John Murray(tough as nails) almost went the full 12 with him. Alvarado is not John Murray, and while he is no Abril he does have some skills. Gonna be a rough night for Bam Bam.

LMFAO and you judging rios from his 2 poor performances due to draining himself and staying in a division too long. Alvarado has to go to war with everyone and he barley wins and he has his natural weight, Rios starved and weight drained only had problem with 2 people out of which neither busted him up. Please dont fool yourself and judge Rios off what Abril did, Alvarado will not be able to even attempt to try that on Rios. Rios is the better inside fighter and has a strong powerful jab, Lots of people like to say Rios has no talent fact is he does and does subtle things on the inside, like turning on his opponent, keep his glove in your face to keep you from be truly able to see the next punch, goes to the body with the intent to open up a solid head shot. Where as Alvarado does no trickery but fight in a straight this is how I learned it type of style. The shots he see opens he takes, he doesn't use any trickery, skills to create opening to make opportunities.

How is John Murray "tiny" at lightweight? And the Abril fight has no bearing whatsoever on what happens here. A completely different fight.

Good post but Mike is 32 years old. That's not young.
Didnt realise he was that old. Doesnt seem to have been around for that long and still fights young but not sure it changes my opinion on the fight. They have pretty similar records at different weights but Im not sure Abril would have handled Mike as easily as he did Rios. I also think a guy like Murray wouldnt have lasted that long with Alvarado but its a close fight that can go either way. Good night of boxing

Brandon better be more than just his size. We get to see if Rios can fight guys his own size or bigger.

I got Alvarado via 6th RD TKO
I can see that. Not sure who I am backing ATM but I would lean toward the naturally bigger guy (Alvarado).

                  Press conference should be fun.
