I think were gonna see a healthy rejuvenated Rios stop Alvarado. I like both fighters but I think Rios will shut a lot of people up that say he can't hang with guys his size or bigger.

Brandon better be more than just his size. We get to see if Rios can fight guys his own size or bigger.

I got Alvarado via 6th RD TKO
Same here, Rio's size will no longer make up for his stagnant movement and inability to adapt.

No, it's gonna be the other way around. I don't have to like Rios to respect him. Rios will beat Alvarado, but he better stay far away from Mathysse.

I got Rios by late KO. No way Rios gets blown away by mid rounds.

Great fight! Im surprised its happening. Usually two young unbeaten fighters avoid each other but these guys will bring it.

Im going for the underdog Alvarado. Reasons being because they have similar styles but Alvarado is the bigger man I think he has better technique too. In a physical fight whih is what we all expect, Mike will havce the slight edge. The way to beat these guys is to outbox them but they will just meet centre ring and go at it. Rios I can see being a bit more predictable and stubbornly standing his ground whereas Alvarado can mix things up abit better and should win this one on points as neither guy will will backdown and accept defeat

If Rios eats and trains properly he should beat a guy that had to come from behind to beat Prescott. The jump from 135 to 140 is a small one. Prescott was 135 not that long ago and he hurt Alvarado so I think Rios can hurt him and Rios takes a punch better than Prescott. It should be a good war and show where these two are at in the tough 140 pound class.

Good post but Mike is 32 years old. That's not young.
