Comments Thread For: Jorge Arce To Return on September 22 in Mexico

According to Zanfer Promotions President Fernando Beltran, former four division world champion Jorge "Travieso" Arce (60-6-2, 46KOs) will return on September 22 in Puebla, against an opponent to be determined shortly. Arce was trying to finalize a deal to face WBO/IBF super bantamweight champion Nonito Donaire, but the Mexican veteran wanted a tuneup bout beforehand. Donaire will now face Japanese superstar Toshiaki Nishioka on October 13th in Carson, California.

He should just rematch with Rojas. That fight was good while it lasted.

Hes staying far from Rojas, that could end his chances for a big money fight with Donaire, smart but sucks. Rojas would bring that title back to PR.

I assume he'll be fighting at 122 this time, hope he's not fighting a no-name. Imagine if he loses his next fight lmao. Better be careful, he should choose a guy with little power and weak defense.

                looooooool

Rojas is a cheater bro, Arce was on his way to stopping him.

Elbow, headbutt, and a low-blow in a sequence of 4 seconds.

He definitely did throw the ultimate point deduction combo, but Im going by how he was pretty much walking arce down in the first even after being kd, he just looked soo much stronger at that point, I couldnt see arce getting the upper hand back, but we ll never find out if they dont rematch...
