Every boxer has it's nuthuggers. That do this exact same thing with a different fighter. Blindly follow him and never admit he does wrong. I'm a huge Cotto fan, but I see his limitations and mistakes. I assume you're talking about Canelo fighting Lopez, I've never given any flak for the bout, he tried to make big bouts and had horrible luck. Not all fans are the same.Comment

As long as Guerrero gets an elite opponent, nothing else matters. He will BRING IT, regardless of the outcome and the REAL outcome is that he will be able to pay for those hospital bills that piled up from his wife's Cancer. Life is bigger than Boxing and I hope he gets a big payday.Comment

If they can make Canelo and Cotto for December, all will be well with me. Didn't look good to completely ignore Lara's existence for this bout though. Chavez Jr. fighting Martinez is a big step up and shows Chavez Jr. has faith in his fighting. Cotto did fight Mayweather, obviously losing clearly, but still fighting the best in the world. Canelo needs a statement fight and soon.Comment

Cotto is ignoring Lara too so it works both ways. Besides I like Lara and all but the hype is just ******ed with the dude. Unlike you, I think he's made for Cotto cause he fights at a relaxed pace compared to good pressure fighters that Cotto seems to have trouble with at times.
He fought Mayweather for money. Not to see who's the best. Just like the same reason Canelo would fight Mayweather.Comment

That's why I don't think Canelo beats Cotto yet either. One of the most patient fighters, but you need to press Cotto and make him doubt himself. Lara does get alot of hype for the Paul Williams win pretty much, as many thought he lost to Molina. I think Canelo and Cotto both beat Lara.
He did make the best business decision, but that doesn't take away the risk of a loss, which are so huge now in today's boxing atmosphere. Canelo is taking the same risk too, regardless of the paycheck he earns. The best fighters usually come with best payday.Comment
