Vasyl is awesome. It's a real pleasure to watch him work. As the article mentions, he has great footwork. His overall speed, reflexes and combination punching are impressive. And he's smart. Lomachenko knows exactly when to turn defensive or offensive. If Vasyl's power is up to snuff, then he's the complete package. Can't wait to see him in the pros.

Yea, he's got the complete package so far and he definitely has power. Has tons of RSC's, and even knockdowns with his left which are great considering he's actually right handed. And his right hooks go crashing in. He has had many surgeries on his left hand though so I would keep and eye on that. And like you said he has an excellent sense of bout progression

does he remind anyone of a cus damato fighter? he reminds me of a smaller, whiter, southpaw version tyson. without the unreal power of course. it'll be interesting to see what he looks like in the pro's. certainly excited about the guy and the possibilities like a broner fight down the line.

Dude, I was gonna mention that in a post! Lomachenko seems to emulate Tyson in several ways. The manner in which he ducks punches (which is masterful, by the way) reminds me of the young Mike Tyson. His compact, fast, sharp movements are also reminiscent of the "Cus D'Amato fighter." He throws the hook to the body, uppercut to the head combo Tyson made famous. Even the way Vasyl walks around the ring and cracks his neck all seem inspired by Tyson! lol I wouldn't doubt at all if Lomachenko's favorite boxer was "Iron Mike." He's certainly watched quite a bit of video on the man.

As ready as I believe Vasyl is for the pros, it'll be a while before he can get in there with the likes of Broner. I think the kid can go very far, though. He's an exciting fighter with great skills and talent. If his English is up to the task, he can be a real star. I'm looking forward to it!
