Up for grabs will be the vacant WBO Asia Pacific bantamweight Championship, which was recently relinquished by AJ "Bazooka" Banal of the famed ALA Boxing Gym of Cebu City, Philippines when he officially announced his scheduled fight against Thai WBO No. 2 bantamweight Pungluang Sor Singyu on October 20 at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City, Metro Manila for the vacant WBO bantamweight world crown.
