‘Pacman’ set to decide opponent soon
Manny Pacquiao’s promoter Bob Arum is set to meet up with his star fighter again this week to make a decision on who will oppose the Filipino legend in his upcoming November bout.
Pacquiao, 33, has long been linked with a rematch with Timothy Bradley, who was given a shocking split decision win over him in June, or a fourth instalment with Juan Manuel Marquez - although Arum stated to Dan Rafael that another former foe Miguel Cotto is now in the running.
"We could do a Cotto rematch, assuming we can come to an understanding on the weight," Arum told ESPN.
"Cotto is talking about going to 160 to fight somebody, but we've been talking to Gaby and we'll sort it out. I think Manny would be willing to do it at 150."
Puerto Rican Cotto was soundly beaten by Pacquiao three years ago, suffering his second career stoppage at the MGM Grand and may be unwilling to accept another fight against one of the pound for pound best after losing to Floyd Mayweather in May.
The 31 year-old may now be ready to move up to 160lbs instead after being linked to a fight for the interim WBA middleweight title against current title holder Hassan N’Dam N’Jikam in New York this December.

Pac, the catchweight king!

He will not fight Cotto at his full weight! He Fears Miguel!

Fight him like Floyd did Pac!
If a Cotto that fought FMJr. shows up, Pac would go down!
