Should have been a good bout but Sugarman has too much desire and will for Roy!! Roy is sorta the modern day Sugarman with hand and foot speed and decent power but he won't out fox Sugarman and can't out power him! I have no problem picking Sugar over Roy, you also can't match anyone against Sugarman and have "more experience"!!!
Everyone knows Sugars record and the amount a bouts he had, add in his amatuers andyou have close to 300 bouts. Then take his gym time in the tuffest gyms in New York and try to think of anyone with that background! No modern day fighter will come close to Sugars life in boxing, no way! Ray

Roy was green as **** at 160. If you take 168 Roy and put him in a 160 body he beats SRR.

Ray Robinson toughnest will evetually break down the weak chin Jones. Jones would build an early but by round 13 to 14 Robinson would knock Jones out like he was in The Road Warrior fight

Roy Jones because Robinson was not a full sized middleweight. He was middleweight champ because he was so good but welterweight was his natural weight. Jones was a big young middleweight. The case for Robinson being the best PFP. is at welterweight not middleweight. At middleweight Ray lost to Randy Turpin when he was 30 and still in his prime. He got beat pretty bad by Ralph Jones when he was 33. He lost to Fullmer when he was 35. He lost to welterweight Camen Basilio when he was 36. Yes, he beat 3 of these guys in return matches but that does not make the loses go away. He never did beat Ralph Jones. Roy Jones was much better than any of the guys that beat Ray at 160 in my opinion.

Robinson had a suspect chin as well. He was knocked down many times by sub par opposition.

it goes a whole lot more for some of the people that DIDN'T pick him.

Why is it human nature for people to assume that everyone is as ignorant as they are?

Anyway, this one is difficult for me to call soley because as mentioned Roy was a big Middleweight. If it wasn't for that, despite Roy's inhuman speed and reflexes I would have picked Robinson.
