Thanks for posting the link. The writer echoes my sentiments when he says, "Given the sorry state of boxing's politics and its stifling promotional turf wars, any changes will likely be for the better." I just hope "TMT" makes some moves sooner, rather than later. I'd like to see Gamboa in the ring ASAP. -

I agree with you on Gamboa. I think that was a stroke of genius by Floyd and 50 to go after him. Gamboa and Broner are the future of boxing, imo...and one day I wouldn't be surprised to see those two in the ring together and doing a million ppv buys. There are so many names out there for Gamboa and especially if and when Gamboa goes up to 140 and 147.Comment

I would love to know how that all went down. I know that Yuri met Floyd several years ago. How soon they became friends is unknown. I wonder how early on Mayweather told Gamboa that he would be forming a new promotional company with "50 Cent", and that they'd like him onboard. The suit filed by Top Rank against Yuri pointed to Floyd's meddling. This has been going on for some time, that much is clear. I'm just curious to know how long.I agree with you on Gamboa. Positive moves in boxing
I hope this new alliance that may be taking place in Boxing does a lot of good and progressive things for the fighters and definitely for the sport of Boxing..the pugilists that are putting and have put their lives on the line for this great sport and our entertainment really deserve some good things to come their way.Comment

with one of their front men being notorious for NOT making fights that fans want to see, i'd have to reserve my judgement until i actually see what they do with this new promotional company
'any change is good change'
we'll see...we might just end up having 3 companies holding in-house fights all the time...not much change IMOComment
