I wouldn't call it luck, he started out okay, but faded down the stretch.

He basically choked. Said he thought he was throwing too many combos and wanted one at a time...except combos = 3 pt lead. Dude got in his own head and Ouballi deserves props for working his ass off.

i feel a bit bad for him too given that its his third olympics, he spent 4 years in the ams to get that medal an didnt even make it past his first fight. then again alot of ppl have their dreams taken at the olympics, atleats warren was really beaten unlike spence.

he really beat himself though tbh. ive seen him box a several times and that was one of the worst performances i ever seen from him.

He drew a tough fight against the Frenchman.

But he made the same damn mistake this year that he did last year. For some reason, he disengages once he feels he has a lead.

This time, he got comfortable with his 3 point lead and gave away 2/3rds of the fight.

It's unfortunate that he's spent so many years of his life chasing the gold medal but this was a fight he could of and should of won. You rarely see a 3 point lead diminish like that.

I dont think he faded. He used to fight like pac. Rush in and out with flurries. But now he wants to box more, and be patient. Everyone cant be THAT type of fighter. You have to do what works for you.

                    Don't feel bad for him.

He fought too passively and lost. It's boxing.

He'll be fine, and will be turning pro soon.
