Reportedly Arce was pricing himself out of the fight. He should fight Rojas and prove everyone wrong.

Both guys came in at 123.5 lb. Since the lower divisions are only separated by 3-4lbs, I don't see the problem in them fighting again.
Plus, Arce is an active fighter with 69 bouts under his belt, what the hell does he need a tune-up fight for lolLast edited by kiaba360; 08-03-2012, 03:03 PM.Comment

arce is obviously the smaller man and has no business in that division
like i said rojas should fight and wait til the WBO make him a mando for the salido vs garcia winner
then i can sit back and enjoy watching him get destroyed by MikeyComment

Oh wow. That's one way to get out of it, lol.

We're not talking about him campaigning at the weight class, just this one fight. It was shaping up to be a FOTY-caliber match until the incident, so I would love to see it again.
There was little to no size advantage for Rojas, so I STILL don't see the issue lol. Arce put his name on the dotted line, didn't he? So he didn't have a problem with going up one pound.Comment

What a joke Donaire is ducking everybody to fight "farce" the Mexican tomato can, and now farce is duckin donaire not to mention that sham of a last fight he was in pulling out during a ppv. I already lost respect for farce after the fight with angkota where he got hit bad in the 7th and just held on for the rest of the fight.Comment

arce is old, beat up and he isn't a featherweight, donaire needs to face a top fighter, all arce has is a name, thats it,and for those saying he quit in his last fight arce just doesn't seem like a quitter to me,look at his fight against hussein or even vazquez jr where he got hit a lot, while other boxers even saying it before they step in the ring they will quit if it gets to tough in there because "they have a family and who will take care of them"...they are already quitting before the tough fight even comes, donaire should be facing a natural featherweight, not a beat up arce just because of the nameComment
