Dawson is the best fighter Ward will have faced up to date. If Chad feels good at the weight it will be a very competitive fight. I think Ward will win but will not be shocked one bit if Chad wins. The odds are crazy these fighters are evenly matched. Ward and Dawson are two of the best the sport has to offer.

The fight being at 168 is Dawson's biggest hurdle if he can overcome that he stands the best chance against Ward besides Hopkins. Ward reminds me of a young Hopkins but with less power I mean young Hopkins could finish as witnessed in stopping toughass Glenn Johnson. But his inside game reminds me of Hopkins as nobody ever bullied Hopkins on the inside. like Ward whose fought the strongest punchers in the division.

That's the thing though Froch, Kessler, Green, Miranda, and Abraham were all punchers. Like Hopkins I believe speed and technique will be his toughest battles. Even tho dirrell. *******t out I felt he was wards toughest test for his speed like Taylor and Jones Jr killed Hopkins with. Dawson is the most skilled boxer Ward will have fought as a professional and the fastest. These 4-1 odds are laughable easy money numbers as I said if Dawson makes 168 fine he will give Ward his toughest fight to date.

Obviously Ward will be the guy coming forward. His style is all wrong for Dawson and if he comes out and fights how he fights it's an easy night. He just needs to cut the ring off and make it ugly. Dawson will spend more time complaining to the ref than fighting back

Scully said that Dawson comes into training camp weighing around 180-182lbs and he doesn't even diet, it's not even 20lbs he has to lose. Dawson has to eat just to weigh 175lbs because he will lose weight if he doesn't. But then again Dawson hasn't fought as a SMW for like seven years, it will take time for his body to adjust.

If JCC Jr. can make 160lbs and he walks around 180lbs, I think Dawson can make 168 with little to no problems.

How does that correlate with Dawson weighing 185+ on fightnight?
