Rios is getting messed up in there. He won't make it 6 rounds taking shots like he is now....is face is all red already.

Rios finished the round pretty good though. I'd make it even

Round 2: Boxers immedialy take it to a phone booth. Rios doing slightly better work on the inside, but Alvarado leveraging some NASTY uppercuts. Alvarado lands a HUGE right hook, and Rios pops him with a short left hook as he tries to follow up! Alvarado pushes Rios off, and works from range - shoots a 1-2, doubles hte jab, and repeats. . Rios takes it back to the phone booth, where he does appear to be slightly fleeter of hand, and have better technique - he can turn his shots over slightly faster than Alvarado. . But Alvarado can get better leverage on his shots, and is better from mid-range, and outisde. . Nice flurry of uppercuts form Alvarado. NICE left hook from Rios . ALvarado 1-2-3 to end the round! RIos brutal left, right hook!!

ANother close round! I don't know how to really call this round, but I'm going to give it to Alvarado again because he landed hte more telling shots I felt. He's more complete - doing damage from inside, mid range, and outside. While Rios is just coming forward, and trying to force hte phone booth.

10-9 Alvarado; 20-18 Alvarado.
