Travis Walker won’t come to Prudential Center to out-box Tomasz Adamek on Sept. 8.
After watching crafty technician Eddie Chambers lose a 12-round fight to Adamek that Walker believes Chambers won, the bigger, stronger heavyweight feels he’ll have to knock out Adamek to win their scheduled 12-round fight in Newark, N.J. His fight against Walker will be Adamek’s ninth at Prudential Center, where the resident of nearby Kearny, N.J., has attracted considerable crowds since December 2008.
