And what is this, no investigation into the Joshua fight? Why is that?! :P
Precisely. Overturning a mid-fight DQ means... well the amateur equivalent of a no-contest. A lot of people have asked that, but it's different from the bantamweight fight.

There was legit ground for a stoppage ruling in that fight but instead went the distance. Therefore, one decision to substitute for the other, and one fighter replacing the other as a result.

There was only one definitive outcome in Larduet-Mazaheri. There are no grounds to replace Larduet in quarterfinals, since there's nothing to point to Mazaheri deserving a definitive victory.

LOL at the Joshua fight. I actually found it more conspiracy-worthy to speculate on the means in which Ogogo won his lightweight bout this morning against Dychko (double tiebreaker, judges pick who win).

The Japanese guy only made it to the next round cause they robbed his Ghanaian opponent in the first bout. This whole tournament is turning out to be a joke once again...
