Ali Mazaheri was treated unfairly by that German ref. The Cuban did more fouls that should've given him warnings. Even the Danish commentators scratched their heads and said the warnings were rubbish. **** that German ref.
AIBA's response to Mazaheri was piss poor and it's evident that they don't want to talk about it.
Olympic boxing is a farce. Corrupt judges, bad judges, no-shows and a ****ed up scoring system.
Nothing has changed since the Jones Jr. scandal. It's a farce.Comment

I just read this from the boxing site Bad Left Hook:
"...But today, they've suspended German official Frank Scharmach for five days, through August 6. So they're admitting that the referee did a poor job, and even wronged the Iranian fighter, but unfortunately, Mazaheri has no chance to do anything about it beyond that. Unlike Shimizu, he won't be advancing in the Olympics."
Yes, they did SOMETHING, but it just doesn't cut it. They need to give Mazaheri a rematch after that disgraceful and incompetent job by that German official. Even the Larduet (the Cuban fighter) and his corner was baffled by the decision. Larduet even covered his head with a towel and looked down when exiting the arena.
Like I wrote earlier. Olympic boxing is a farce and it's driven by BS politics.Comment
