He's the best athlete I've seen in the ring in years! Someone has taught him solid basics and at 23 yrs old theres more maturity coming. Hopefully he matures mentally too and can draw some positive attention to the sport as well. Love to see him in with Mayweather in another year! I need to see him get hit and in with someone who has some power but I think his athletic ability can carry him a long ways. A few bouts between 135 to 142 and by 24 to 25 he's a 47pounder! Another real short welter but that seems to be the norm for the past 10 years, short speedy guys who can't punch! I like him!

What I find sad is the ppl criticizing him calling out Gamboa because gamboas last fight was at 126. Seriously? Where was all this criticism when Brandon Rios, who btw wouldn't have made 135, was about to fight him. Everyone was beating for that fight and now its a bad fight for Broner? How the **** does that work?

Umm anyone can "call" fighters out on a youtube video, or on a Twitter post to save face.

For instance Mayweather called out Pac again after the Cotto fight but anyone with a brain could tell it was one of those "stick it to em" type of things. He wasn't really calling him out, he's busy with the whole self-preservation thing. Watch as Broner's next opponent won't be any of the guys he just mentioned.

If anyone can do it then why aren't the guys he's calling out doing it? The fact that he's being vocal about who he wants to fight says a lot.

But that's exactly the point. He wants to appear macho calling out these fighters, when in reality Golden Boy knows that Broner can pull in massive numbers, he's their cash cow on the rise, so they are going to match him up very carefully with selective matchmakers. He can call out Gamboa and Marquez all day, GBP will not line him up with them. A big portion of his following is because of his undefeated status.

I don't believe that it has anything to do with being macho, any fighter who steps into the ring to fight has already proven they are macho. Broner is doing what many fighters can't do which is market and sell themselves to the public. This is how the sport is, why knock him for calling guys out?

Broner IMO is an interesting individual that brings a new flair to the sport, he brings charisma and and outspoken attitude which keeps people talking about him. What he is doing is obviously working to perfection. Can't be mad at the kid at all.
