Former beltholder Edgar Sosa (46-7, 28KOs) has received the pleasant news that Japan's Toshiayuki Igarashi (16-1, 10KOs), the WBC's flyweight champion, is interested in facing him. Igarashi recently captured the title with a close points win over Filipino Sonny Boy Jaro.

It has been revealed that an offer is on the table for a potential November clash in Japan.

I saw sosa's bout last sat on Televisa & he just walked thru & totally outclassed Ikehara but the champs another thing but he has a good chance 2 win, even in Japan + the Japanese promoters pay a great amount more 4 foreigners...let's hope it flies 4 November...
