Lucian Bute

Can anyone tell me about this guy he looks like a monster and his last 3 fights have been agienst good tough journeymen and former contenders

Bute's an excellant prospect, who has good power to both the head & body (a very good body puncher), suprisingly quick hands, excellant sense of timing for seeing & responding to openings, and throws some very textbook punches in there (especially his straight shots up the middle). He also seems very capable of fighting at long, mid & short range, and seems to have the ability to adapt to whatever style an opponent offers.

He's not as flashy as the other Super Middleweight prospect up here who's getting a lot of attention, Jean Pascal (who reminds me somewhat of Roy Jones in attributes & style), but to me Bute looks like the better overall prospect of the two.

Yep, I can agree with all that, as Bute looks the much more fundamentally sound fighter of the two. To be fair, Bute has had a few more pro fights than Pascal, but even last year I would have said the same thing about Bute compared to what we see in Pascal today.

Pascal's a natural athlete and does have very noticable skills, but I'm a bit worried about his rather big ego, and I think that may hurt him in the future as far as development goes.

Ah, if I was a manger or trainer, Bute would be the guy I'd like to be most associated with of the two and that'd be an easy decision to make.
