TR can't sign them all and actually select who they want, and sign others around a fighter too. That way they can build a name, but also the other fighters get paid more as that name grows, and then that fighter is known because they fought a potential superstar.

The TR promotion is sustainable. They don't go overboard on the spending on promotions and do a great deal on rebates for PPV buyers.

Bob Arum has worked with many other companies, and has done such things as promote Evil Kinevel. They don't want everyone because it doesn't make sense. You need other companies to spend money and build names up too, and it isn't cheap. Arum looks after his fighters like Chavez Jr etc... but you can't say he does a bad job. At first it was just the last name, now Jr has beat some decent guys and will fight a P4P top 3.

You can't promote everyone. No company is big enough to make multiple fights around the World. It makes sense to let others do the work and bring the fans from other areas to super fights.

Instead, he was met with silence. The whole world at the time was in a suspended state trying to figure what GBP and Prince Floyd wanted. Turned out that Floyd got scared and not ready for the fight. You know the rest of the story.

Yeah, I remember it like it was yesterday.
The poor old man thought it's really going to happen. That was three years ago. And now clowns of Floyd have been trying to tell everyone that Arum was protecting Superstar Pac from an overrated defensive fighter when Floyd was the one who weaseled out of the fight.

Bob Arum Hates Mayweather, not GBO

GBP and Top Rank have had their fighters fight each other before.

Mayweather has never fought an under contract top rank fighter.

Its always been about the money. Why would Arum let his prize possession fight Mayweather knowing that Floyd is better fighter? He has the Top Rank match-makers advising him who Manny will look good against. This in turn keeps Pacquiao's hype alive and the pactard's filling Arum's pockets . Now that the well is running dry....we may finally see Mayweather vs Pacquiao.

I know Arum would be more excited if fifty cent was named Dollar Bill!!

Tell me whats Arum supposed to say who the hell is that goof ball who has a group of goobers who "think" they know boxing because they've assembled money for a company? Jose Suliman put together some money years ago and what a mess he made out of things. It just goes to prove that "anyone" nowadays is a boxing promoter, even if you have NO experience at it!!!
Please Floyd and Pac fight get your money and GO AWAY! take Arum with you and fifty cents too!! Ray.

I wouldn't sign with a company with a name like TMT, I can't take it serious.

That's why you can never convince anyone out there that Arum is the one preventing this fight from happening. They still remember the sequence events quite clearly. In the end, Bob Arum was so pissed and called Mayweahter a coward.

F yeah he is happy. No third party. A better financial split and a F U to GBP. GBP may have reeped the benefits of Floyd's last 6 fights but it looks like they won't get any cash from the highest grossing fight of all time. Who knows maybe the fight won't even happen?
