it's silly to think this is just 50. first off its 50 and floyd together, and no doubt there are others involved such as al haymon and others. They are building a big promotional company which definitely can make a ton of money (not just from ppv's). 50 is more of a figurehead with others doing the real work (similar to like oscar & golden boy for example).

I would say 50 is more than a figure head and so was Oscar, Oscar is a figure head now but he provided GBP with a ton of working capital, I assume 50 is sinking quite a bit of money into this venture.

Dib has talent, but his Defense is AWFUL, maybe Roger or Jeff can help him with that...honestly he actually reminds me of Amir Khan, has the Speed and the Offense but doesn't do good when the Punches come back at him

not a bad signing, just a fighter that needs to tweak his style a bit if he want to compete with the top fighters in his Division, no promotion has ALL TOP FIGHTERS

no one else thinks it will be Gamboa vs Dib for Gamboa's comeback fight? I think that's the reason for the signing, which of course gives Gamboa a title right off the bat.

I don't think TMT honestly thinks Dib is marketable and can become a star. Promoters often sign guys to feed to other guys, nature of the sport.

All they need is Gamboa to take over. Yuri beats everyone in or near his weight.

I could see 50 getting deep into it, obviously there would a be a learning curve so other people would have to aid him but as time goes on it would really depends on what he wanted to get out of it. It could go either way.

Banner Promotion or Artie Puello (sp.) is who promotes Andrade, I believe they are big in the New England area and with the Indian Casinos there. I believe they have actually kind of built him into a draw at Mohegan Sun, they certainly love having him fight there even if he isn't (6 out of 17 fights including his last 2).

Long terms though when Andrade is ready to go national TMT would be a pretty wise choice.
