That's good to hear at least one was overturned. These judges need to leave their hate for America at home and look at our fighters as individuals that have nothing to do with politics and wars.

This with Shimizu...don't know if many realize how groundbreaking this is. Appeals have happened for years but these are getting air AT the Games and affecting results. Amazing stuff.Comment

Awesome to see that the clamor is reaching the ears of the powers-that-be. I've been watching the coverage on our U.S. stations, with Teddy Atlas, and on NBC online, with the BBC announcers (I believe). They've all been groaning about the results, to put it mildly.Comment

This is unfounded.
Lots of nationalities have been robbed in this tournament. Apart from the Spence and maybe the Gausha fight, all the American's have been beaten fairly.Comment

Pissing and moaning from Americans. There has been some bad decisions all round but the US boxing team is sub par, to be quite frank, you don't get points for style.
There has been some great fights and the Excel Arena has been full and had a great atmosphere every day, I doubt that would be the case in most other countries. That is the big positive.Comment

nice. although it was only overturned on the pretence of referee oversights, so the terrible/corrupt judging remains officially unaddressed.
were the appeals handled by london based olympic higher-ups or an international committee?Comment
